My father made countless portraits, he always liked to make them and it served him to experience many pictorial techniques; pen, pencil, oil, watercolor, encaustic, charcoal, engravings. I used to dramatize children, I guess as an excuse to do different things. Portraits are a way for my father to distance himself and take a breath in front of the painting that occupied him most of the time that were the sewn and superimposed planes. In general they are very minimalist and with the appearance of unfinished.
